Kapaa, Hawaii
Kapaa, once a plantation town, is located at the northern side of the Coconut Coast that extends 10 miles from Kappa to Lihue.
The area is the most developed on Kauai, but is still much less crowded than similar tourist developments on the other islands.
Hotels and condo resorts at Kapaa are located north of the Wailua River with easy access to the Lihue Airport and Wailua area shopping.
